Terms and Acceptable Use
Athena helps you prepare and approve tasks that an AI assistant may carry out through calls and messages. You must be at least 18, provide accurate account information, and use the service only in countries where we make it available. Your plan determines the services and daily limits available to you.
Your responsibility
Only ask Athena to contact people when you have a lawful reason to do so. Provide accurate instructions and review the assistant’s plan before an outgoing call. You remain responsible for decisions, permissions, information you provide, and any commitments you explicitly approve.
Prohibited use
Do not use Athena for fraud, impersonation, harassment, threats, unlawful surveillance, unwanted bulk outreach, evasion of opt-outs, or misleading claims about a person’s identity or authority. Do not request illegal goods or services, unauthorized access, or activities that could seriously harm another person. Do not supply another person’s private information without a lawful basis. Do not use the assistant for emergency services or professional medical, legal, or financial advice.
Calls and messages
Follow the consent, disclosure, recording, and messaging rules that apply to everyone involved in a communication. If a recipient opts out of messages, stop contacting them through Athena. Athena may identify itself as an AI assistant and must not pretend to be you. We may pause or refuse a task, message, number, or account when needed to prevent abuse or comply with provider requirements.
Limits and availability
Free includes one available assistant and one connected outbound call per account-local day, up to two minutes. Pro is manually approved and includes up to ten connected incoming and outgoing calls per account-local day, up to two minutes each, plus eligible phone and integration features when provisioned. There is no payment or automatic upgrade in this release. Features, supported countries, and numbers depend on operational availability.
Data and changes
Calls and messages may be processed by our providers and stored with transcripts and summaries so you can review outcomes. Read the Privacy Notice for details. We may update these terms and require you to accept a new version before communication resumes. Contact Athena support through the published support channel for account or misuse concerns.
These are Athena’s own draft terms for legal review. Industry rules for calling, messaging, and synthetic voice also inform the service.
