Athena Welcome

Help people feel at home, wherever they move.

Athena Welcome is an organization-sponsored service direction for relocation agencies, global mobility teams, universities, and international employers. It is designed to support newcomers with everyday communication and practical settling-in tasks.

Partner pilot · Availability depends on your setup.

A relocation coordinator welcoming two new arrivals into an apartment

Is this the right fit?

Athena Welcome is intended for organizations that want to offer practical communication support to newcomers. It is organization-sponsored and distinct from Navigate, which is designed for individuals. Pilot scope, supported tasks, and access are agreed with each organization.

Who it is for

  • Relocation and destination-services agencies
  • Employers hiring and relocating international talent
  • Universities and international student offices
  • Immigration-support and settlement-service providers, subject to appropriate professional boundaries
  • Serviced-apartment and longer-stay accommodation groups

Where work gets stuck

  • Newly arrived people need help after formal relocation services are complete.
  • Relocation coordinators field repetitive requests about local providers and appointments.
  • Employees struggle with everyday language barriers that affect the settling-in experience.
  • Newcomers are not sure which question to ask or whom to call.
  • Sponsors lack a scalable, clearly bounded layer of practical assistance.

What Athena helps you do.

01

Extend the welcome beyond the first week

Offer practical support as new questions arise, not just when someone receives their keys.

02

Give your coordinators more breathing room

Help people handle eligible routine enquiries while your team focuses on complicated situations.

03

Support people in the language they're comfortable with

Let the user express a need clearly and review the intended next step before a supported interaction.

04

Give every request a defined boundary

Specify eligible tasks, usage limits, escalation paths, and when a professional must step in.

Illustrative workflow

How Athena Welcome could work.

  1. 01

The organization sets up a pilot

The sponsor defines who is eligible, which task categories are supported, and what requires human referral.

  2. 02

    The employee receives access

The person can choose to use the service and reviews the relevant privacy and calling terms.

  3. 03

    A personal request is created

"I need to ask my internet provider about installation availability."

  4. 04

    Athena prepares the next step

It uses the request and the sponsor's service boundaries, while obtaining the individual's approval for the task.

  5. 05

    The supported task proceeds

Athena may handle an appropriate call or help coordinate a handoff, depending on the provider and the available capabilities.

  6. 06

    The person gets an outcome

The user receives the result. The sponsor sees only permissible aggregate service metrics unless the individual authorizes more detail.

Available actions depend on your solution, integrations, account eligibility, permissions, and release stage.

Illustrative use cases

Where this can help.

Relocation agency

A relocation coordinator receives frequent requests for routine local-provider calls.

Athena's role: Offer eligible clients a guided way to handle everyday enquiries and refer complex cases back to the agency.

Outcome to review: Eligible tasks completed and coordinator time saved.

International employer

Recently arrived employees need help managing appointments and local services.

Athena's role: Provide opt-in task assistance as part of the company's relocation package.

Outcome to review: Program adoption, task outcomes, and employee satisfaction.

University international office

Incoming students need help understanding ordinary booking and service processes.

Athena's role: Support approved everyday calls and return complicated or sensitive questions to the right office.

Outcome to review: Useful tasks completed and support-office referrals.

Know what happened next.

Agree on a baseline and review real outcomes as the workflow is tested. These are measures to track, not reported customer results.

  • Activation rate: Eligible invited people who begin using Welcome / eligible invitations.
  • Task completion rate: Completed supported tasks / supported tasks started.
  • Support diversion rate: Routine tasks completed without coordinator intervention / eligible tasks.
  • Escalation quality: Cases reaching the appropriate person with adequate context.

Before you get started.

Is Welcome an immigration or legal-advice service?

No. It is intended for practical communication and coordination, not immigration advice, legal representation, or official decision-making.

Can the organization see every call an employee or student makes?

The intended model is privacy-first. A sponsor should generally receive program-level usage and service metrics, not private conversation content without an appropriate legal basis and clear authorization.

Does this replace our relocation coordinators?

No. Welcome is designed to help with repetitive tasks while the human team handles sensitive, complex, or high-trust cases.

Can we offer Welcome under our own brand?

Co-branding or white-label delivery can be explored as part of a partner discussion, but should not be advertised as a live capability until supported.

Does this include government and banking calls?

Such interactions often involve identity, authorization, privacy, or professional-advice requirements. Availability must be assessed task by task, and some interactions will need direct human participation.

Help people feel supported long after they arrive.

If your organization supports international talent, students, or relocation clients, let's design a small, clearly bounded pilot around their most common everyday challenges.
